Palm Fronds

This, of course, could be
many places, but it actually
is on the Wekiva River near
Altamonte Springs, FL. I did
a large etching, got disenchanted
with it (it didn't sell) and instead
of trashing the plates, I looked for
areas of goodies. I found two areas
and cut plates, reworked what needed
to be done and liked what I had. I love
working with odd shapes. It challenges
the composition.

Nice piece. I was drawn to the unusual composition; the way the palm fronds in the foreground really make that horizon line recede. Then when I read about how you worked and reworked an older plate, I really got excited for you. Nice work!
