On the Rocks

This is a spot on the beach at Washington Oaks
Park. My grandson took a lot of photos and I
found an area to crop and use. I almost always
compose this way. The etching took several weeks
with scraping of the plate to get the tones right.
It was printed in an aqua color and then hand-colored.
I thought it was rather boring so I added reddish
brown and lavendars. Wish I had darkened this
photo some. It is too light.
