There was a spot northeast of Clermont called
Astatula. Actually, it is still there on winding
roads on the way to Tavares and Mt. Dora. However,
this wonderful clay road that I photographed 20 years
ago is all developed and paved. It looks totally different.
This is a tribute to all the old clay roads and storage
barns in the woods.
