Cruisin' the Flats

This etching is of the area that they call "The
Loop" which surrounds an area in Ormond Beach,
FL. It is full of marshes and water and part of the
Tomoka State Park. I love all the palm trees in
different states of foliage - brown fronds, bright
yellow/green, etc. I did some plein aire painting
here and took a lot of photos. An etching this size
takes a good bit of time. There are several processes
I use and then I pull a proof, hoping things go as
planned. Everything is in reverse.
