"Marsh Perspectives"

Sold "32 x 52", acrylic. I painted this marsh four years ago and have been looking at it all this time to see if I could improve it. I also wanted it to look more like the intercoastal areas around here.

"Hot Fishing Spot"

"20 x 20", acrylic. My husband and I just spent 30 minutes trying to remember when and where this was taken. We determained in the early spring before the green flush happened. We also decided the boat was headed into the mouth of a small creek.

"East Pass"

Sold "18 x 12", acrylic. This is off the coast of Suwannee, FL and is one of the barrier islands. It was painted from a photo I took late in the evening from the boat.

"Before the Sun Sets"

14" x 11", acrylic on canvas. This scene is from a series of photos I took at Suwannee right before sunset from a boat. This particulaar spot is on Salt Creek.

"Early Morning Surf"

This is from a series of photos I took between Flagler Beach and
St. Augustine. The water is very clear in this area. The sky
was so beautiful that day but I did have to mute the clouds
as they became too dominate for the rest of the painting.

"Palms on Mainline Road"

There is a narrow road going from the tiny area of
Suwannee to Horseshoe Curve (close to it anyway)
It is totally amazing with all kinds of trees, swamps
and grasses and birds. I have taken hoards of photos
and will do more paintings as time allows.

"Palms and White Sand"

This is an older piece that started as a plein air
painting. I was very new to plein air and ended
up working on it more at home - really over working
it. But, I still felt it had value so I simplified and
revised a couple of areas recently and like it much
better. The spot is really unique - it is in a park
in the busiest part of Winter Park and is totally
secluded. This is a small creek with white sand
running throughout the park. Quote: "You can
always tell a man who thinks he is smarter than
others, but you can't tell him much."
